Very small and compact and USB chargeable

I used the light successfully in the springs of Blue Grotto @ 101 feet & devils den @ 50 feet and it preformed well. I love it being rechargeable. I would make a good backup light for a cave diver. BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

If you prefer a handheld flashlight, Tovatec makes an amazingly bright, 220 lumen zoom torch powered by mini USB and a rechargeable Li-ion battery. One switch cycles the Sports TAC2000 through 100% power, 30% power, strobe and off. Diving or out in a monsoon? Take it with you. It’s waterproof to 324 feet. On each USB charge, you’ll get about 1.25 hours of burn time on high intensity. Fully recharge the light in typically under 3 hours.
I love the feel of the Sports Tac 2000. The unit is small enough to easily carry in your pants pocket, but feels completely comfortable in your hand as well. The focusing ring is easy to grasp and turns just hard enough to stay in position for hours. There’s a handy hole for a wrist strap in the removable base.
When you want lots of illumination for a decent price, check out the Sports Tac 2000.
This was one of the products we featured during the 2014 Outdoor Retailers Show earlier this year, and we wanted to double back and present those items that actually turned out to be as good as we thought they would be. Now that they’ve stood up during our road trips, we can recommend them unequivocally.

I *love* this little light. I was totally taken with it from the specs and could hardly wait to get it out of the package. No disappointment at all. I smile every time I pick it up. Mesmerized with the USB charge method. A small LED light shows you the status. Who would expect a ZOOM on a light like this but there is one. I now carry this light on most every dive I make. My original choice, the ICOM, is also a favorite, and I still use that light but with the zoom this has some additional functionality. I frequently lead divers on dives. I always have a light with me as it lets me look under rocks and into crevices and light them up. It restores natural colors. I use this light to “point” at various fish without disturbing them. We have a lot of tube blennies in my dive area. Their head is about the size of a pencil eraser. Very easy to put them in the “spotlight” so students and divers can see them. ZOOM out and I can highlight a bigger area or larger fish. A great second or backup light but for me it’s compact size helps cut the bulk and serves as a good primary light for daytime dives. Highly recommended.
