Bottom Line – You get what you pay for. In my case this was for the best. I got exactly what I needed – A BRIGHT LIGHT. though it is the size of a large Mag-light and just as heavy, it is BRIGHT. Blows all other lights I own out of the water (Pun)( I own a lot of nice lights ) BUT BUT BUT its big and heavy. If you want a 800 Lumen light that is lite and compact spend more money….A lot more money. I am very happy with the light. I have been in the water and it works well. The concentrated beam is great for spotting into tight areas. It penetrates deep into areas but still casts ambient light. Its a spot not to be confused with an area light. ALL AND ALL – IF you want a bright, well built light (able to beat a Elephant to death) this is the light for you. I have never seen a light at this price that compares to this light. ENJOY

Great, bright dive light for a good price. I take it on all of my night dives. The concentrated beam is much brighter than a wide angle light. The only disadvantage is that you cannot cover as much of an area. I have not found this to be a problem, since the illuminated area is still quite sufficient.

One of the best divelights that I ever own and the tail switch, its perfect.

Used this on many night dives in Cozumel. The light that was brighter and wider was a $600 light. Battery life was good. I was diving for about 10 days and didn’t have to change the batteries. Down side is, as others have said, the light is heavy and big, but if you ever get attacked by a sea creature you can defend yourself. I really don’t use this light outside of night diving. I have other lights that I use for cave and backup lights. Having said that, this light is really good at what it does
